Cookies, analytics, advertising and consent choices
Last updated: 7 August 2026
In brief
- Necessary cookies keep the site, cart and checkout working.
- Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you consent.
- You can accept, reject or manage cookie categories anytime.
- “Reject all” is as easy to use as “Accept all”.
8.1 What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies store or access information on your device. Some are necessary for a website to work; others support analytics, personalisation, advertising or conversion measurement.
8.2 Consent
We use strictly necessary cookies without consent only where the law permits this because they are necessary to provide a service you explicitly request or to transmit communications. Analytics, advertising, conversion-tracking and other non-essential cookies are not activated until the required consent has been obtained.
You can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookie categories through the cookie-preference tool. It should be as easy to withdraw or change consent as it is to give it.
8.3 Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
Session, shopping-cart, checkout, security and other functions needed to provide the site/service requested by you.
Analytics
Helps us understand website use and performance. Analytics cookies require consent unless a specific legal exemption clearly applies.
Advertising / conversion tracking
Measures or personalises advertising and may involve third-party platforms. These technologies require consent before activation.
Personalisation / performance
May remember optional preferences or improve site experience. Consent requirements depend on the specific technology and purpose.
8.4 Cookie list
The cookie-preference panel should contain an up-to-date list showing the cookie/technology name, provider, purpose and expiry. Because website tags change, this list should be generated or checked against an actual cookie/tag scan before publication and after major website/marketing changes.
8.5 Third-party technologies
Some optional cookies or pixels may be placed or accessed by third parties that provide analytics, advertising, social-media or marketing services. Those third parties may process data under their own privacy notices. J&B Furniture should list the actual providers used on the live site rather than using generic placeholder descriptions.
8.6 Managing cookies in your browser
You may also use browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies can prevent parts of the website, cart or checkout from working correctly. Browser controls do not replace the website’s obligation to obtain consent for non-essential tracking where required.
