Most people come in, point at a corner sofa and say they were actually after a 3-seater and a 2-seater. You can have exactly that — in that model. Below is one sofa drawn six ways. Nothing changes but how the pieces are arranged: same frame, same comfort, same look. Every model below works like this, in any fabric or leather we carry.

And “three-seater” is a seat count, not a size. Ours run from 194 cm to 269 cm wide — three quarters of a metre between the narrowest and the widest, on the same two words. Each dot is one of our thirteen three-seaters.

At J&B Furniture you do not pick a sofa off a shelf. You pick a model you like the look of, then decide the layout, the size, the covering and the features. Every sofa on this page is made to order for your room, in over 300 fabrics and genuine Italian leather, and delivered anywhere in Ireland. Our showroom is in Limerick.

Why we ask about your wall

“Three-seater” is a seat count, not a size

Thirteen of our models are made as a three-seater with arms. Every dot below is one of them. They are not the same sofa.

centimetres between the narrowest three-seater and the widest — three quarters of a metre, on the same two words. It goes further than that: a Motion two-and-a-half-seater is 210 cm, so it is wider than a Lugano three-seater at 202 cm. The seat count tells you how many people sit down. It does not tell you how much wall the sofa takes. Tell us the wall you need to fill and we will put forward the models that land closest to it.

Widths are for the sofa with both arms and may vary by about 3 cm. A single seat runs from 60 cm to 88 cm depending on the model, and each arm adds 12 to 27 cm. Seat height runs 44–48 cm and seat depth 53–57 cm. We confirm the exact figures for your configuration before you order.

You do not need to know any of this before you contact us. We walk through it with you, in the showroom or on WhatsApp.

Size

Seat widths differ between models, so the same seat count gives very different sofas. Tell us the wall you are filling and we match the model and the seat count to it.

Covering

Over 300 fabrics, graded 1 to 5 — grades 4 and 5 wipe clean and stand up to pets. Leather is 100% Italian hide, never bonded. See our fabrics and leathers and AquaClean easy-clean.

Features

Sofa bed, electric recliner, bedding storage, drawers, drinks cooler, laptop table, USB charger. Pick none of them and the sofa costs less.

Bespoke sofas — your questions

Can I have any model as a 3-seater and a 2-seater instead of a corner?: Yes. Every model on this page is built from separate pieces, so the same sofa can be made as a 2-seater, a 3-seater, a pair, a left or right corner, or a U-shape — in the same fabric or leather.
How long does delivery take?: Usually 10–12 weeks for a made-to-order sofa, depending on the model and the covering. We confirm the date with you when you order.
Can I see the fabrics before I decide?: Yes. Samples are in our Limerick showroom and we are happy to put a shortlist in front of you.
Will it fit through my door?: Tell us about the access before you order — a narrow hall, a tight turn on the stairs, a lift. Some models come apart into sections that get through and others do not, so we check it with you first and recommend what will actually fit.
Do you offer finance?: Yes. Flexible payment options are available — see our finance options.
Can I add a sofa bed?: Many models take a sofa bed mechanism, and most take bedding storage. Ask us about the model you like and we will tell you what it supports.
